Librarian authors’ work is downloaded around the world

The scholarly impact of The Keep is measured in worldwide downloads.

A university in Lagos, Nigeria. A library in Turapati, India. A cafe in Medan, Indonesia. Along the banks of the Seine, near Notre Dame.
What do these places have in common? They were all locations where the research and scholarship of Booth Library faculty members Todd Bruns, Kirstin Duffin and Steve Brantley were downloaded in the past week.Screenshot 2015-01-28 22.14.33 The Keep, Eastern’s institutional repository, collects the research and scholarship of participating faculty, making it available to scholars around the world. To date over 350,000 downloads of over 37,000 documents have increased EIU’s national and international visibility and worldwide scholarly impact.

As part of the international Digital Commons Network  participating EIU faculty regularly appear on monthly “Most Popular Author” Top Ten lists in areas including:
